This Privacy Policy explains what information Duty3 collects, how it is used, and your rights in relation to that information. We are committed to handling data with transparency and minimalism.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Duty3 is a non-custodial, decentralized protocol. We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, submit identification documents, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) to use the Service.
All raffle activity — ticket purchases, prize distributions, refunds — takes place on the Arbitrum One public blockchain. This data is not stored by us; it is permanently and publicly recorded on-chain and accessible to anyone.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Duty3 web interface, our hosting provider may automatically collect standard web server logs, including:
- IP address (typically anonymized or truncated)
- Browser type and version
- Referring URL
- Pages visited and timestamps
This data is used solely for operational purposes (uptime monitoring, abuse prevention) and is not linked to on-chain activity or wallet addresses.
3. Wallet Addresses
When you connect a Web3 wallet to the interface, your public wallet address becomes visible to the frontend in order to display your balances, tickets, and transaction history. We do not store wallet addresses in any database. All lookups are performed directly against public on-chain data via read-only RPC calls.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
We use minimal browser storage (localStorage / sessionStorage) solely to preserve UI preferences such as theme or recent selections. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics SDKs that profile user behaviour.
5. Third-Party Services
The interface integrates with the following third-party services:
- Chainlink VRF — provides verifiable randomness for winner selection. No user data is transmitted to Chainlink beyond the on-chain request.
- Thirdweb — provides wallet connection infrastructure. Please review Thirdweb's own privacy policy for details on their data practices.
- Arbitrum / RPC providers — on-chain read calls are routed through public or private RPC endpoints. These providers may log request metadata per their own policies.
6. On-Chain Transparency
By design, all raffle transactions are publicly visible on Arbitrum One. Any wallet address that participates in a Vault, purchases tickets, or wins a prize can be observed by anyone with access to the blockchain. This is an inherent property of public blockchains and is not within our control.
7. Data Retention
We do not maintain user databases. Server logs collected by our hosting infrastructure are retained for a maximum of 30 days for operational purposes and then deleted.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Service, please contact us so we can investigate.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal data. Because we do not store PII, most such requests will result in confirmation that no data is held. For any privacy-related inquiry please contact us through our official channels.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent revision was made. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
