Terms of Service
Last updated: June 8, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Duty3 protocol and interface (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Nature of the Service
Duty3 is a decentralized, non-custodial protocol deployed on the Arbitrum One network. The Service facilitates on-chain raffles ("Vaults") in which participants purchase tickets for a chance to win a pooled prize denominated in ERC-20 tokens. Winners are selected via Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF), which produces cryptographically verifiable randomness that no party — including the Duty3 team — can predict or manipulate.
The Service is provided solely as a frontend interface to interact with autonomous smart contracts. We do not custody funds, control Vault outcomes, or act as a counterparty to any transaction.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- You must not be located in, or be a citizen or resident of, any jurisdiction where participation in raffles, gambling, or similar activities is prohibited by law.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction before using the Service.
- By connecting your wallet you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
3. No Guarantees of Return
Purchasing raffle tickets does not guarantee any return of funds. Participants who do not hold the winning ticket will not receive a refund of ticket costs, except in the specific refund scenarios described in the smart contract (deadline elapsed without sell-out, or a Chainlink VRF failure). All participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
4. Smart Contract Risk
The Duty3 smart contracts have been developed with security best practices and tested extensively. However, no software is entirely free of bugs. You acknowledge that:
- Interactions with smart contracts are irreversible once confirmed on-chain.
- Vulnerabilities or exploits could result in partial or total loss of funds.
- The Duty3 team makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding contract security.
5. Platform Fee
A platform fee (currently 5% of ticket revenue) is collected automatically by the smart contract upon Vault completion and transferred to the protocol fee recipient. This fee is reflected in the displayed ticket price at the time of purchase and does not change after a Vault is created.
6. $DUTY3 Token
The $DUTY3 token is a utility token that may provide a discount on ticket prices and staking rewards funded by protocol revenue. $DUTY3 has no guaranteed monetary value, does not represent equity or ownership in any entity, and must not be treated as a security or investment instrument. Token features may be modified or discontinued at any time.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or circumvent the smart contracts.
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the interface in a way that degrades service for others.
- Misrepresent your identity or eligibility.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Duty3 team and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or funds, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be announced via our official communication channels.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the protocol operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
12. Contact
